The Dean of the Faculty of Archeology / University of Kufa, Dr. Alaa Hussein Al-Lami, participated in the preparatory meeting to discuss the scientific research participating in the Fourth International Al-Kafeel Conference on Friday, July 7, 2023 AD, a physical and electronic meeting of the members of the Scientific Committee of the Fourth International Conference of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts Department of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine.
During the meeting, research was discussed and evaluated according to the principles of acceptance and rejection of scientific research by applying the conditions that must be met in research for the purpose of participating in the conference.
And the head of the scientific committee of the conference, Dr. Ibrahim Sarhan, spoke about the outcomes of this meeting, saying: (Today’s session was held in order to implement a practical preparatory program for the Fourth International Al-Kafeel Museum Conference. The focus of our meeting was to evaluate the research that was conducted after being evaluated by experts. This session produced acceptable research and Others are rejected and others need minor modifications. Attendance at the meeting varied between professors from the universities of Iraq and the Arab world. Sober research was elaborated to reach scientific research received at the meeting, from which the attendees would benefit from it in order to reach scientific results related to antiquities and museums in the future).
