The Dean of our college (College of Archeology/University of Kufa) Dr. Alaa Hussein Al-Lami participated in the conference entitled (Legal aspects of protecting the Iraqi cultural heritage) an advanced step to review the national law and over two days in Gilgamesh Hall / Babylon Hotel, and presented in the conference many valuable lectures that were the focus of The debate in international and national law to protect the Iraqi cultural heritage.
The conference was attended by many professors of law and antiquities, as well as some personalities of the European delegation, in addition to the head of the General Authority for Antiquities, Dr. Laith Majid Hussein.
