The University of Kufa, in cooperation with the Italian University of Bologna and the European Union, is preparing to hold its third international conference “for research and protection on the Iraqi archaeological heritage,” which aims to enhance national identity and preserve the monuments and heritage made by the sons of Mesopotamia. The conference will be attended by European, Arab, regional and Iraqi universities, researchers from different countries as well as specialists In the field of antiquities and heritage. The conference will be held on Saturday, February 26, in the Great Hall of the College of Education, while the activities of the second day will be in the Continuing Education Halls of the College of Science. The conference will be accompanied by exhibitions of archaeological and historical photographs and pictures of the holy shrines throughout history held by the Abbasid shrine and the Shiite Endowment Diwan. We invite the faculty and students in our college (College of Archeology / University of Kufa) and all researchers and those interested in this regard to attend the aforementioned international conference, wishing everyone success.
