Under the auspices of the Dean of Archeology, Dr. Mohammed Jawad Fakhruddin, the Department of Islamic Archeology at the College held a scientific symposium entitled “Effects of Addiction on Smoking” on Sunday, 16/12/2018. Two lecturers were delivered in it. The first one was delivered by Dr. Amal Naij Ibrahim Al-Hasnawi, Head of Islamic Archeology Department about the effects of psychological, behavioral and economic smoking on the individual and society. The second lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Setar Jabbar Ahmad Al-Tursi about the smoking and its effect on the health of people. a number of instructors and students attended it. Also the students made posters that showed the effect of smoking.
