A Seminar held about “Taxes and their types in Mesopotamia in the light of cuneiform texts”

the Department of Ancient Iraqi Antiquities at the College, held a seminar about Taxes and their types in Mesopotamia in the light of cuneiform texts on 6/12/2018. The lecturer was delivered by Dr. Fatima Abbas al-Mamouri, head of the Department of Antiquities of Iraq. It included a definition of taxes and their types, Their purpose and when to be extracted as an economic resource reinforced by cuneiform texts.
