A scientific symposium entitled (Survey techniques in the field of archaeology)

In cooperation with the Faculty of Archaeology / University of Kufa, the remote sensing Center held a scientific symposium entitled “Surveying techniques in the field of antiquities” On Monday 23/4/2018 , The aim of the symposium is to identify the techniques used in the detection and exploration of buried monuments as a scientific step to determine the method of scientific excavations using the modern techniques In particular the sensor,One of the most important researches presented at the symposium was a study to determine the path of Imam Hussein Ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) from the borders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Holy Karbala, On the sidelines of the symposium, certificates of appreciation were given by the President of the University of Kufa Professor Mohsen Abdul Hussein Al-Dhalimi to the researchers and was handed over by the Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, Dr. Nabil Abdul-Hussein Rahi.
