Seminar titled (national gods in Mesopotamia)

In the scientific activity of the Department of Islamic Archeology in our College, Dr. Hussein Aliwi Abdul Hussein taught at our college on Monday, March 26, 2018, entitled “The National Gods in Mesopotamia.” The Mesopotamian peoples of the Sumerians and Akkadian people from the cult of natural phenomena made a national project To unite their political ideas, as they employed the worship of the heavenly god (Ano) and the god of air (Enlil) for the Sumerians for this purpose. The Babylonians then focused on showing their national unity by the worship of God Marduk. The Assyrians also did the same when they made the Assyria a symbol of their national unity,
